The new owners of this classic pre-war brownstone wanted to retrofit the home with modern amenities that wouldn’t clash with the fully restored original decor.

The multi-room audio system streams music from a number of sources (web based, apps, digital library, AM/FM) throughout the home’s in-wall & in-ceiling speakers. The distributed video system sends HD video from the central communications hub, conveniently located in a closet, to any of the flat screens throughout the house. Adding to the classic feel of the interior design, a Séura Mirror-TV hangs above the marble fireplace in the family room. Custom made to match the interior design, the mirror seems like it’s from another era, it hides a vanishing HD TV from Seura that disappears when not in use..
The security/CCTV system leaves no stone unturned. The safety of their young children a primary concern, they wanted something they could check in on remotely and would alert them of problems in real-time. Using the Elan g! app, they’re able to securely check in on a smartphone, tablet or computer from anywhere in the world.
