Long time customers of La Isla’s, we were just as excited as anybody to hear of their planned uptown expansion.
Their clean and modern decor called for a system that easily blended in and the client’s main request was that the system be easy to use. The Serious Crew installed a number of in-ceiling speakers and subwoofers, as well as a Solid Drive on each of the front windows. Solid Drive can turn both sides of a window pane into a speaker; sound radiates equally on both sides of the glass.
By mounting an iPod Touch within an iPort mounting system at the hostess stand, the restaurant’s music and ambiance can be easily controlled without leaving the dining area. The café, bar area and dining room can be controlled independently or in unison with the swipe of a finger.
